Where do I find the appliance's power?
On the label on the back or bottom of the appliance, in the manual or on the box, in watts (W). If it is in kW, multiply by 1,000.
What kWh price should I use?
The price is on your electric bill. Divide the bill total by the kWh used to get the real price, with taxes and fees.
Why does the fridge use less than calculated?
Because the compressor isn't running all the time. For fridges and air conditioners, use the yearly kWh on the EnergyGuide label divided by 12 when you have it.
