Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between sample and population standard deviation?
Population divides the sum of squares by n and applies when you have all the data. Sample divides by n − 1 and is used when the data is a sample. The calculator shows both.
How do I separate the numbers?
With commas, semicolons, spaces or one per line. Use a decimal point (1.5, 2.7), or a decimal comma with spaces between numbers (1,5 2,7).
