Discount coupon box for websites (one-click copy): what it is for
A coupon that is easy to copy avoids typos at checkout. Enter the code, the discount, a note and the expiry date, and choose the style: a ticket with cut-out sides, a dashed border or plain.
The button copies the code in one click and shows Copied!, with a message for screen readers; if the browser does not allow it, the code is selected so it can be copied by hand. After the expiry date, the box disappears from the site on its own.

Frequently asked questions
How does the copy button work?
It uses the browser clipboard API (navigator.clipboard), which works on HTTPS sites. The button changes to 'Copied!' for two seconds to confirm, and a screen reader message announces the copy.
What if the browser does not allow copying?
The code leaves the coupon selected so the person can copy it with Ctrl+C or a long press, and the code stays visible so it can be typed.
What happens after the expiry date?
The script compares today's date with the expiry date and hides the box once the coupon has expired, so nobody tries a code that no longer works. Remember to turn off the coupon in your store too.
