Frequently asked questions

How do I teach reading an analog clock?

Start with the short hand, which shows the hours, and with full hours, when the long hand points at 12. Then move on to half hours, with the long hand on 6, and then to five-minute steps, counting the clock numbers by 5.

How do I type the answer?

Type the hour and minutes, like 3:15 or 15:15. The tool accepts both 12-hour and 24-hour format, because an analog clock does not show whether it is morning or afternoon.

Can I see the answer without getting it right?

Yes. Use the show answer button to see the time in words and numbers and move on to the next one.

Is it really free?

Yes, 100% free. No sign-up, no subscription and no usage limits. All Tools123 tools are free and run right in your browser.
