Child height predictor: what it is for
Choose boy or girl and type the parents' heights in centimeters. The calculator uses mid-parental height, the method pediatricians use: the average of the parents' heights, plus 6.5 cm for boys or minus 6.5 cm for girls, with a range of about 8.5 cm up or down.
It is a genetic estimate: nutrition, sleep and health also count, and the pediatrician follows growth with the charts.
