How do you calculate square footage?
Multiply the length by the width in feet. A room 12 ft by 14 ft is 168 sq ft. For irregular rooms, split them into rectangles, calculate each one and add them together.
How do I convert inches to feet?
Divide the inches by 12. A wall 10 ft 6 in long is 10.5 ft. This calculator does it for you: type the feet and the inches in their own boxes.
How many square feet are in a square yard and a square meter?
A square yard is 9 square feet (3 ft × 3 ft). A square meter is about 10.764 square feet.
