The result shows the total video time, how much space each minute and each hour take, the bitrate and how many 90-second videos fit.

Frequently asked questions
How much space does a minute of phone video take?
As a reference, on a recent iPhone in High Efficiency (HEVC): about 60 MB per minute at 1080p 30 fps and 170 MB at 4K 30 fps. In the Most Compatible format (H.264), the same video takes roughly twice as much: about 130 MB and 375 MB per minute.
What is HEVC (H.265)?
It is a more modern compression format than H.264: it stores video at the same quality in about half the space. On iPhone it is the High Efficiency option in Settings > Camera > Formats; on Android it usually shows up as HEVC or H.265 in the camera settings.
What if I know the bitrate?
Choose the bitrate option and enter it in Mbps (megabits per second). Each 1 Mbps takes 7.5 MB per minute.
Why does my 64 GB card have less space?
Manufacturers count 1 GB as 1 billion bytes, and part of the space goes to the file system. Use the free space your device shows.
