Frequently asked questions
How do I paste the data?
The first line holds the headers: the category name and the name of each series (Month; Sales; Costs). The other lines hold the category and the numbers. Separate the columns with semicolons, vertical bars or Tab; when you copy from Excel or Google Sheets, the columns already come separated by Tab.
Which chart should I use?
Columns and bars compare amounts between categories; horizontal bars are better when the names are long. Lines and area show change over time. Pie and donut show the parts of a whole and work best with few slices and a single series.
Can the numbers have commas and dots?
Yes. The maker understands 1,234.56 and 1.234,56, and also values with $ or %. In the pie and donut charts, only the first series of numbers is used.
