What is the minimum attendance?
It depends on your school: 75% is common (it is the legal minimum in Brazil), which means you can miss up to 25% of the course hours. Many US colleges set their own limits per course, so check your syllabus and adjust the percentage.
Do excused absences count?
A doctor's note usually excuses an absence, but whether it still counts toward the limit depends on your school's policy. Check your school's or college's rules.
