Frequently asked questions

How do I measure?

Use a tape measure without squeezing. Neck: just below the Adam's apple. Waist: men at navel height, women at the narrowest part. Hips (women): at the widest part of the buttocks.

Is it accurate?

It's an estimate with a margin of error of 3 to 4 points. Bioimpedance, skinfold measurements by a professional or DEXA are more accurate.
